By accessing or using SatLedger, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What SatLedger Provides

SatLedger is a self-directed Bitcoin portfolio tracking tool. It is provided for informational and personal record-keeping purposes only. SatLedger does not provide brokerage, exchange, custody, fiduciary, investment advisory, accounting, tax, or legal services.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the transactions, wallet assignments, prices, notes, and other data you enter or import.
• You are responsible for reviewing outputs, charts, cost basis calculations, exports, and tax-related files before relying on them.
• You are responsible for securing your device, browser profile, exported files, Google account, backups, and any vault passphrase you choose.
• You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, regulations, and tax-reporting obligations.

No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

Information produced by SatLedger is a software output based on the data available to it. It is not financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a substitute for professional review.

No Warranties

SatLedger is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SatLedger disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Price Data and Third-Party Dependencies

Some features depend on third-party data and services, including Coinbase price data and optional Google authentication and Drive sync. Those services may change, become unavailable, rate-limit requests, or return incomplete or inaccurate data, and SatLedger is not responsible for that behavior.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SatLedger and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, tax positions, investment opportunity, or digital assets arising out of or related to your use of the app.

Prohibited Use

• You may not use SatLedger in a way that violates law or infringes the rights of others.
• You may not attempt to interfere with the app, its client-side operation, or any connected third-party services.
• You may not represent SatLedger outputs as guaranteed accurate without independent verification.

Intellectual Property

Except where otherwise stated, SatLedger and its associated branding, interface, and source materials remain the property of their respective owner(s). These terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.

Changes, Suspension, or Discontinuation

SatLedger may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Features, integrations, and data formats may also change over time.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Continued use of SatLedger after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
